Course Options

School SUpplies

We at Innovations Learning Academy, strongly believe that all students should have the necessary tools to be successful in school. That is why we offer families these essentials to get them started on the right track.

• Chrome Books: Innovations Learning Academy is a 1:1 school, meaning that each student receives a Chrome Book at no charge to the families

• Lending Library: All families will have access to our lending library which consists of a variety of items that can range from books and manipulatives to your child's favorite educational games. All of our items come from the wonderful materials our families select to enrich their own educational experience. When our families are done using their educational resources, we collect and inventory the items into our lending library to make them available for a new family.

• Back to School supplies pack (crayons/colored pencils,erasers, pencils, scissors, notebook, pencil pouch, etc) - while supplies last

I can Statements

I Can Statements are family-friendly guides that can be used to help your family and ensure your students are on track for their grade level. All learning objectives for English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies are provided, written in family-friendly language. I Can Statements help make grade-level learning targets clear for families and they address the standards students of the same grade level learn in all public schools. I Can Statements are also flexible enough to easily pair with your selected curriculum choice.

Multi-Grade Level Lists

The skills noted in the multi-grade level lists for science and social studies can be learned and applied to the content areas for their respective grade level groupings. These lists should be used in conjunction with the content standards. These skills can be assigned to the lessons in your personalized curriculum to demonstrate the following intellectual, reasoning, reflection, and research skills.

TEsting

As a California public school, we participate in all the state-mandated assessments listed below. These tests are used to measure learning progress and provide parents with clarification on how students are performing across subject areas. We hope to partner with parents and use the feedback from these assessments to help students reach their academic potential.
